Louise’s stories have found homes in Canadian and American journals in print and online. She is currently working on a collection of short stories. Her debut novel was published in 2025.

  • “Remembering Innocence” and “Toes” won first place in the Joyce Dunn Memorial Writers' Competition, The Shuswap Lake International Writers' Festival.

  • “Nemo Creek” made The Master’s Review short list.

  • “For Valentines”, “Nemo Creek” and “Footsteps” made the long lists of The New Quarterly’s annual The Peter Hinchcliffe Fiction Contest.

  • “In Circles” was a quarterfinalist and “All Her Relations” a semifinalist in Driftwood Press Adrift Contest.
